Pairing the CONTOUR NEXT ONE meter to the CONTOUR®DIABETES app

Download the App

  • On your compatible smartphone or tablet,* go to the App Store® or the Google Play™ store.
  • Search for the CONTOUR®DIABETES app and install the app.

Pairing Your Blood Glucose Meter and App

Access Meter Settings

  • Open the CONTOUR®DIABETES app on your phone.
  • Tap on Menu symbol.
  • Select Settings from menu.
  • Select My Meters.
  • Tap on + in upper right corner to start pairing procedure.
  • Select CONTOUR®NEXT ONE meter shape.

Prepare for Pairing

  • Make sure your meter is off and keep it near your mobile device.
  • Tap Continue

Activate Bluetooth on the Meter

  • On your meter: Press and hold center button (A) for 6 seconds, until you see the blinking Bluetooth® symbol.
  • Meter will also show the serial number at the bottom of the screen.
  • Then in your app: Tap Continue

Select and Connect Your Meter

  • App will find meter devices nearby.
  • In your app: From the list of meters available nearby select the name and serial number of the meter you want to pair with the app.
  • Then tap Continue.
  • App will connect to the selected meter.
  • When you have successfully paired your meter with the CONTOUR®DIABETES app, the Bluetooth® symbol displays on the meter screen.
  • The meter returns to the Home screen.
  • Tap Continue in your app.

Meter Settings

  • App allows you to quickly set up your meter. You may want to set on or off your meter features: Sound, Meal Markers and smartLIGHT®.
  • Tap Continue in your app.
  • App will apply your settings with meter and will show screen with meters connected to the app.
  • From now on readings from your meter will be synced with your CONTOUR®DIABETES app.
