CONTOUR®NEXT ONE blood glucose monitoring system.
This video will show you how to use the smartLIGHT feature on the CONTOUR®NEXT ONE smart meter.
The smartLIGHT feature gives you instant feedback on your blood glucose results.

How smartLIGHT Works

• After you have tested your blood glucose and if the Target Light setting is on, the test strip port light displays a color representing your result value compared to the Before Meal, After Meal or Overall Target Range.

Understanding the Color Indicators

Green – In Target

• If your blood glucose result is in target, the smartLIGHT feature is green.

Red – Below Target

• If your blood glucose result is below target, the smartLIGHT feature is red and the meter beeps twice.

Yellow – Above Target

• If your blood glucose result is above target, the smartLIGHT feature is yellow and the meter beeps once.

No Meal Marker Selected

• If you have not selected a Meal Marker, the smartLIGHT feature will indicate your blood glucose test result compared to your Overall Target Range.
