Where can I use the MICROLET®NEXT Lancing Device on my body?

The MICROLET®NEXT Lancing Device is intended for single patient use to collect capillary blood from persons aged two years and older. The alternative site testing endcap is intended to collect fingertip capillary blood from the palm in adult persons only.12

What lancets are compatible with my MICROLET®NEXT Lancing Device?

Your MICROLET®NEXT Lancing Device is specifically designed to work with MICROLET® Lancets.

What should I do if my MICROLET®NEXT Lancing Device does not puncture?

Your MICROLET®NEXT Lancing Device has five different depth settings and is made from stainless steel (28-gauge needle) and medical-grade plastic (needle housing). You can adjust the puncture depth as needed by rotating the endcap dial between the settings. The puncture depth ranges from 1.25 mm (Setting 1) to 2.75 mm (Setting 5) with 0.4 mm or less between each setting.12 The amount of pressure applied to the puncture site also affects the puncture depth.

Excellent quality lancing device!

"I love the Microlet NEXT lancing device from Ascensia Diabetes Care! I've used several other brands and a few generic ones! Microlet NEXT is one of my absolute favorite lancing devices. It is included with all of the excellent Contour NEXT line of blood glucose monitors! It is easy to use and virtually painless. It is also easy to clean and sanitize as well. I really like the sliding ejector, to eject used lancets! The depth selector is very useful as well. The lancing device lasts a long time! Can't say that about off brands! I will note, I recommend using the Ascensia Diabetes Care's Microlet NEXT lancets and not universal or generic ones! Trust me I've tried them! They may work, yes but not nearly as well!"
