CONTOUR®NEXT Control Solution is designed for use with CONTOUR®NEXT blood glucose meters and test strips. This blood sugar meter control solution is ideal for routine quality checks or when your readings seem inconsistent as it helps verify that your meter and test strips are functioning correctly, supporting accurate results and confident diabetes management.

CONTOUR®NEXT Control Solution-Level 1 (Low) (2.5mL bottle) is an aqueous glucose solution that checks the accuracy of your blood glucose meter and blood glucose test strips.

When should I perform control solution testing?

Control solution testing should be performed if one or more of the following scenarios occur:

  • When using your blood glucose meter for the first time.
  • Opening a new package of blood glucose test strips.
  • If you think your meter may not be working properly.
  • If you have repeated, unexpected blood sugar results.
