Does my CONTOUR®NEXT GEN meter have Bluetooth® connectivity?
Yes, every CONTOUR®NEXT GEN meter comes with Bluetooth® connectivity. When you start using your CONTOUR®NEXT GEN meter with the Contour™ Diabetes App, you will need to pair the two devices. The app and meter will then seamlessly connect and sync using Bluetooth® technology. The Bluetooth® setting on your mobile device and meter will need to be switched on for the pairing, and each time you test your blood glucose levels, so that the app can synchronize the reading. How do I set up my CONTOUR®NEXT ONE meter?
There are two ways you can set up your CONTOUR®NEXT ONE meter: on the meter itself, or by using the Contour™ Diabetes App provided by Ascensia Diabetes Care. For instructions on initial setup from the meter itself, please refer to the User Guide included with your meter. To set up your meter using the app, download the CONTOUR®DIABETES app on your smartphone or mobile device, open the app, tap ‘Get started,’ and follow the instructions. This will configure both the meter and the app simultaneously.
How do I set up my CONTOUR®NEXT GEN meter?

The CONTOUR®NEXT GEN blood glucose monitoring system has demonstrated highly accurate results, exceeding the minimum accuracy requirements of the ISO 15197:2013 standard.* The CONTOUR®NEXT GEN system has been shown to deliver a ±10.27 mg/dL or ±10.27% error margin in the overall range.7
